Why People Do Not See God

1. 11 So the LORD spoke to Moses face to face, as a man speaks to his friend. And he would return to the camp, but his servant Joshua the son of Nun, a young man, did not depart from the tabernacle. Exodus 33:11
   


2. 1 Then Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married; for he had married an Ethiopian woman. 2 So they said, "Has the LORD indeed spoken only through Moses? Has He not spoken through us also?" And the LORD heard it. 3(Now the man Moses was very humble, more than all men who were on the face of the earth.)
   4 Suddenly the LORD said to Moses, Aaron, and Miriam, "Come out, you three, to the tabernacle of meeting!" So the three came out. 5 Then the LORD came down in the pillar of cloud and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam. And they both went forward. 6 Then He said, "Hear now My words:
   
   If there is a prophet among you,
   I, the LORD, make Myself known to him in a vision;
   I speak to him in a dream.
   7 Not so with My servant Moses;
   He is faithful in all My house.
   8 I speak with him face to face,
   Even plainly, and not in dark sayings;
   And he sees the form of the LORD.
   Why then were you not afraid
   To speak against My servant Moses?"
   Numbers 12:1-8
   


3. 14 and they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land. They have heard that You, LORD, are among these people; that You, LORD, are seen face to face and Your cloud stands above them, and You go before them in a pillar of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night. Numbers 14:14
   


4. 4 The LORD talked with you face to face on the mountain from the midst of the fire. Deuteronomy 5:4
   10 But since then there has not arisen in Israel a prophet like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face, (that was at the time of writing the book of Deuteronomy ) Deuteronomy 34:10
   


5. Then Moses went up, also Aaron, Nadab, and Abihu, and seventy of the elders of Israel, 10 and they saw the God of Israel. And there was under His feet as it were a paved work of sapphire stone, and it was like the very heavens in its clarity. 11 But on the nobles of the children of Israel He did not lay His hand. So they saw God, and they ate and drank. Exodus 24:9-11
   


6. 35 And I will bring you into the wilderness of the peoples, and there I will plead My case with you face to face. Ezekiel 20:35
   

1. Many are seeking God where He is not. Many are following religious beliefs and practices that were not approved by God, even those practices that turn them away from God.
   
   But he answered and said unto them,
   Why do ye also transgress the commandment of
   God by your tradition? Matthew 15:3
   
   Again He said,
   But in vain they do worship me,
   teaching for doctrines the commandments of men. Matthew 15:19
   
   
2. There are many misconceptions about God. All these misconceptions have to be cleared before you can see God. The misconceptions blind your eyes and mind from seeing God.
   


3. Your belief determines much of what happens in your life. Your belief is like a key. It either opens the door for you or locks you out. Hence, the saying, that “those who are excluded, exclude themselves”
   


4. Many people think that God is far away in Heaven; whereas God is everywhere. He can make Himself visible or invisible. He is both within and without (inside and outside) Creation, just as the sun is outside the earth controlling the earth, and at the same time inside the earth (atmosphere) as sunlight, sustaining life, and also inside the earth (ground) as heat empowering reactions.
   


5. People are ignorant of what they are. Many do not know that they are spirits. They see themselves as human flesh, sinners, worthless and nothing. So they separate themselves from God according to their belief.
   


6. Our environment is very noisy. God dwells in Silence. Noise is not good for our health. Noise is not good for our spiritual growth.
   


7. The cares and worries of the world prevent people from seeing God. Many would testify that when they were not yet engaged in business, that they were receiving visions, dreams, oracle, trances, etc. But since they started business, they receive little or nothing of spirituality. Jesus confirmed it: that the cares and worries of the world prevent people from living Godly life.
   


8. A person who is not pure in spirit cannot see God. To be pure means not to think evil. It means to be open-minded, and to be non-possessive and non-complaining.
   


9. People do not devote time to mediate or think about God, and read about Him. They prefer to fill there hearts with worldly things, stories, bad news, careless talks, videos of violence, rape, crime, murder, madness, etc. In short, people do not have time for God.
   


10. Most of the religious leaders are ignorant of the Truth, because they did not study Spiritual Science. Therefore, they are not spiritually awake, enlightened and experienced. That is why Jesus described such leaders as blind leaders.
    
    14 "Let them alone . They are blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind leads the blind, both will fall into a ditch." Matthew 15:14
    


11. The evil spirits use so many strategies to mislead people, without people knowing that such deceptions are happening. Majority of humanity do not know that a terrible war is raging on against them.
    


12. Because the religious leaders do not study Spiritual Science, they use human reasoning to explain spiritual statements. By so doing, they misinterpret the spiritual statements. That is why many of the statement of Jesus Christ have not been correctly interpreted or practically done in the lives and times of present day people.
    


13. Religions and churches are busy claiming to be the best, whereas they have not things they were commanded to do. They are like a foolish labourer, who everyday goes about asking people to pay him for a work he never did.
    


14. For a long time, many churches banned prophecy. By banning prophecy, the churches refused and excluded the Holy Spirit. By closing the doors to works of the Holy Spirit, it became easy for the anti-Christ to enter in the midst of the churches, and he has been misleading the world.
    


15. People do not know their enemies, who include Devil, evil spirits, demons, mermaids, ghosts, witches and black energies. It is hard to fight an unknown enemy. And it is even harder to fight an enemy who pretends to be a friend.
